What a beautiful day to run and play

But, unfortunately, I am stuck inside grading research papers!!!!! I did make it out for a while and went to the HUGE book sale going on at the library on Military Cutoff. If you can go, you really should! The husband and I got 15 books for $30! And some were huge hard-bound books. I have also washed my car, but now, alas, I am grading papers.

They are pretty good. Today, so far, I've graded 1 A, 2 Bs, and 2 Cs. Lourens, I'm getting ready to grade yours next...

Hope you all are enjoying this beautiful day!

Monday speech givers, you'd better be practicing your little hearts out! Don't forget to dress professionally, bring your transcript and practice sheet, and 5 note cards!

  3. I'm not telling anyone what their grade is! Everyone has to wait until (hopefully) Wednesday.

    Lourens--I'm not telling! :)

  4. So if I, you know, hypothetically, lost my practice sheet, could I just have the people for whom I practiced my speech sign something saying I did? If I had done that, I mean. ;)

  5. Sure. If you hypothetically lost your sheet, I would hypothetically say to just make one!

  6. Mrs. Moon,
My mentor recently had surgery on his foot and is still slightly immobile, I can get him to sign things if I go to his home, but he cannot come and meet to take witness in me working on my product as I do things like me recycling drive. Is it okay of I go to him after and show him what I did and then get him to sign off on my hours?

  7. do we put a title on our transcript?

  8. Allison, yes, you can show him the things you have done, but I would really try to get an adult there who can actually verfiy what you did.

Jackie--use the normal MLA heading like you did on your research paper.

  9. Okay so I'm confused about the verification thing. Any adult except family members can sign off on our hours, right? But they have to actually be there to see it in order to sign it off?
