Over the weekend...

work on your paper! You should have the entire thing finished on Monday. Now, that may not be a perfect copy yet, but if you have the paper in its entirety, it will be much easier to fix and you will know what questions to ask me on Monday.

Things to think about regarding your paper:
  • Type your parallel outline with thesis at the top
  • Make a bib card for your image and interview
  • Add quotes
  • Add transitions
  • Add analysis
  • Type Works Cited page

Has anyone submitted a paper to the homework help people? Why not?!?

Seriously, work over the weekend. Do a little at a time so you don't become overwhelmed!

Have a gorgeous weekend and ask me anything you need to over the weekend. I'll get to all of your questions eventually!

  1. Mrs. Moon,

How do I do the analysis again? I don't even know how to start. Other then the analysis I have my paper completed I think..

  2. Well, the easiest way to start is to add analysis after quotes (either from an artilce or your interviewee). To do that, you just further explain the quote and how it relates back to your thesis. Remember, you want to say why it's important--why you chose to include it (without actually saying that). Another place to add analysis is to put it at the end of major points (A's and B's). Do it the same way--tell how/why the points you just made are important and how they relate back to your thesis. You want to say this is important because.. (without saying those words).

Just give it a try and I can look at it on Monday! Good luck!
