This link is the closest I could find to the version in our book. It's neat, too, because you can read it in both Middle and Modern English. So, switch it around and see if you can read it!
Remember, read through the description of the Squire. Stop if you start reading about the Yeoman. Fill out your chart and we will have a quiz tomorrow!
Keep working on those speeches!

I'll put the pictures on the blog when I get home!

What do the "Quote" and "Approved/Disproved/Why?" sections in that packet mean?
ReplyDeleteMrs moon does our speech transcript need to be MLA format? Also how many pages of single spaced text did you say made approximately a5 minute speech?
ReplyDeleteThis may be a stupid question, but on the court chart, whats the difference between actions/behavior and character traits? With that being said, what does it mean by quote?
ReplyDeleteHelp anyone?
Thanks.
OK--actions and behavior are things that they have done or the way they act (like the knight has fought in many battles, etc). The character traits are things that Chaucer says about them (like the knight is very brave).
ReplyDeleteThe approval/disapproval is kind of your opinion about what Chaucer is saying about that person (and, therefore, that type of person). Like does Chaucer (and us) approve of the knight? Why?
Laurens--Yes to MLA format. Single spaced--probably about 2 pages.
Oops--sorry I spelled your name incorrectly, Lourens!
ReplyDeleteSo...What do I put where "Quote" is written? It's in the same slot as the traits, so do I put the trait in as a quote?
