You cannot print in my classroom nor will any excuses be accepted of why you don't have your paper. If you don't have it, you don't have it. Enough said.
I really want to watch Beowulf tomorrow, so how about everyone brings in 8 pages?
We will be having our vocab quiz as usual, however, so be ready for that.

ReplyDeletethe other day i went through all the names my mentor gave me and found one lady that agreed to do my interview but she asked me if i could email because it was more convienient for her so i emailed her the questions. and im getting really nervous b/c i havent heard back and ive tried to contact her but cant get in touch, ahhhh!
ReplyDeleteAllison--quotations in general? 30% of your paper should be quotations--so shoot for 2-3 per page.

Mrs. Moon! So, I did my interview today, only to find out that my "expert" was no help at all. She didn't even try to answer my questions, and the few answers she did give are absolute crap. She gave me the name of someone else who can help me, but there's no way I can get the interview done by tomorrow. I will bring you what she did answer (which isn't much) so that you can see that I tried.
ReplyDeleteBy the way...I went to the top turtle person in SC - there wasn't anyone higher that I could go to. The woman she referred me to is woman who previously held her position. I will pursue contacting her tomorrow, and will bring something in Monday.
whats the quiz looking like? and please remember that im going to be gone for a little because of DARE, so dont count me out cause im going to have my 8 pages. i expect to be gearing lots of I AM BEOWULF tomorrow
ReplyDeleteMiss Moon, I have a conundrum, I am already up to 12 pages without the conclusion, I can definitely take out around one and a half pages, but I am having trouble inserting quotes, I have it down to about one quote a page, it that acceptable?
