Today was pretty good in class, alot of laughter like always. I think we pretty much had everything done, but very confused on the internal citation.

ReplyDeleteI was a bit confused with the Beowulf cartoon...not doing it, but turning it in. I'm pretty sure most of us (myself included) took ours home. Was that alright? Ms. Thomas didn't know what we should do with them...
Mrs. Moon, I'm having trouble finding someone to interview, so do you have any advice on where to look?

Would i first off make VA in Department of Veteren affairs and then chnge 26 to twenty-six?
Oliver--we'll find you someone to interview. I'll bet there's someone at CFCC or UNCW or locally that can do it. I'll look tomorrow after you tell me what you think.
ReplyDeleteMiranda, it depends. If you have already used the VA somewhere in your paper, then you can abbreviate it in the quote. And since the number thing isn't a big deal (because it's in a quote) you should be fine leaving it as is.
Well, you weren't supposed to take your cartoons home, but if everyone did, it's ok. We'll be voting tomorrow for the best one!
