Happy Long Weekend

Hope you have a great long weekend... Don't forget:

1. Advisor log check on Tuesday

2. 30 note cards due at the beginning of class

3. Intro and thesis due Tuesday

Anything else?

We will be going back to the computer lab on Tuesday, too, unless no one really needs to go. You can find sources or work on note cards in there.

We will review what we know about Old English and Beowulf then finally start to read on Wednesday!!

  2. Hmmm...Hopefully you remember how to write a thesis from years past. Why don't you give it a try? If it is awful, don't worry about it--I'm going to look at everyone's on Tuesday.

  3. I have been working on the note cards and have gotten about 40, now im kind of stuck. I have gone through all of my sources about 8 of them and can not really find anything else to finish up my note cards. What should I do?

  4. So, I have a slight dilemma. One of my sources has this date on it:
    05/02/12

How exactly do I read that? Because this article was DEFINITELY not written in 2012...

  6. Ally--I have no idea what that date it! Usually, it is either day, month, year OR month, day, year. Hmm...We'll look at it!

Allison--we will talk about this tomorrow. We will be going back to the computer lab tomorrow, so maybe you can find another source. And you still have to conduct an interview, so that will get you some note cards.

40 cards is pretty good, but it won't equal 9 pages. We may have to add another subpoint. Remember, you can take notes on what will be in your introduction.

Bradley--30 notecards are due at the BEGINNING of class!!

  8. Well, I am going to check that everyone has something (as in you tried, it's typed, etc) tomorrow. I am going to read everyone's tomorrow night and edit them--then give them back so you have that part done.
