Have a great weekend!

So, tomorrow you are:
1. taking vocab quiz
2. working on a Works Cited assignment
3. doing something creative with B-wolf
Hand in your mentor forms!
Be good for the sub! I don't know who the sub is yet, because everyone I'm trying to get can't sub tomorrow!
People who need me to change their grades--remind me on Monday. I can't get into the grade system (it's down or something) so I'll have to fix things on Monday (and you know I'll forget).
Have a great weekend! See you on Monday!

2 pages tomorrow! (and other stuff)
Your 2 pages are due tomorrow! They must be printed in MLA format! Please remember my rules on printing...
Keep looking for a mentor!
Do you all want to go to the library for a bit during class tomorrow? Or would going to the computer lab be more beneficial?
Let me know!

Vocab Homework
Ok freaking out. I was not there yesterday so I definitely do not know what the vocab homework is, so if anyone can tell me what it was I would appreciate it.
Mentor?
Mrs. Moon, I've been looking for a mentor, and i've contacted people but none of them have responded. I have emailed some and left messages over the phone but no reply, and im starting to freak out. There is a certified nurse at my moms school that would most likely be able to be my mentor. she's not an AIDS expert, but i havent been able to find many of those, and those that i've found i have already contacted with no success. Would it be alright if she was my mentor even though shes not an "expert"?

Write those outlines
Good job today. Once you all finally got on track and stopped talking about Teen Mom, we finally got some work done! ;)
So, for tomorrow, get those formal outlines done! Just try your hardest. I know that it can be difficult, but you can do it!!
Also, remember to have your 10 interview questions tomorrow.
More work time in class tomorrow after we read some Beowulf!

Have a great weekend!
Over the weekend, don't forget to work on your 75 note cards!
Trust me, you will want to come to class with your 75 cards on Monday. I know that some of you are giving blood; however, that is not an excuse for you to not complete them. I need to see those cards!
We will begin formally structuring your paper on Monday--you don't want to miss it!
Let me know if I can help you in any way via the blog over the weekend...

Work on your vocab homework
Find a mentor
The answer to the Anglo-Saxon riddle:
mead (alcohol)
**Good job, Laurens!**
Anything else?
I just want to apologize for my outburst about Bonnaroo today. It's just very hard for me to think about any of my students as anything but perfect, wonderful people. I want to see each and every one of you with the promise that you have.
OK, that's the LAST time it will be mentioned!
If you go to this website, look at the right hand side and play the game called "DIG IT UP" , and tell me your final outcome, you can win a prize tomorrow...

For Wednesday the 10th
Good job today! You all worked very diligently in the computer lab! If everyone keeps up that kind of effort, we'll have no problems come research paper time!
Tomorrow, we will finish our presentations! Also, I want to help people who need it on their outlines, and I really want to see everyone's outline. We need to be sure you are on the right track.
We are also back in the lab for 40 minutes to find 2 more sources and make 2 more bib cards!
Are you going to the basketball game tonight? If so, I'll see you there!

For Tuesday the 9th
Good class today! Don't you feel like you are getting to know your classmates?
For tomorrow, don't forget your outline. I know that they may change, but just try to get 3 points down about what you will write about.
FYI--the grammar quiz is cancelled! Is that OK with everyone? Or should we keep it?
Want to win a prize tomorrow? Come in tomorrow and tell me a fact you learned about a classmate during the presentations today and you will win a prize!
